GLASGOW COLLECTIVE MURAL
Collaboration with Sophie Steele and Shauna Grey
We were asked to create a mural for the reception area in this modern industrial setting, a new co-working space, in whats fastly becoming the artsy hub of Glasgow, The Barrowlands.
We took inspiration from our surroundings for the colour palette, the fresh greys, we paired with an industrious orange to give it some punch. The owners wanted not only a mural but something of their brand represented on the wall. There wasn't much in the way of signage at the time and they wanted to build on their brand, which at the time was pretty young. Instead of just using the font from their logo we decided to go with a blown up version of their business card floating around in the ether.
So why triangles? Err because we love 'em! Those wee triangles not only look pretty slick but the clusters represent people from different disciplines and backgrounds working together to open doors for each other and work together and that is the very much the ethos of this wee hidden gem.
